Your career path with Gateway
Our feeder programme has four clear phases. You move forward as you master each stage — based on your work quality, client care and results. Every phase also offers the ability to build additional income streams through our referral partner network.
Phase 1 — Admin Assistant
Basic salary plus commission. Your starting point. You welcome new clients, gather the documents needed and hand engaged clients over to a senior originator. A great way to learn the business from the inside.
Phase 2 — Intern Bond Originator
Basic salary plus a higher commission tier. You begin preparing assessments and full applications under the guidance of a senior originator, and start guiding clients through the process yourself.
Phase 3 — Junior Bond Originator
Higher commission only, with full support. You run your own applications from start to acceptance, build relationships with estate agents and lead providers, with a senior always available for advice.
Phase 4 — Senior Bond Originator
Higher commission plus additional income streams. You handle your own client base end to end and mentor the juniors coming up behind you — passing on everything you have learned.
In summary: learn and earn, towards a final destination of earning while you teach others.
What we look for

No. Our feeder programme is built to take someone with solid administrative experience and grow them step by step into a fully fledged bond originator.
What equipment do I need?
Your own phone, a computer and reliable internet. Most of the work happens online with our clients and banking partners.
How long does each phase take?
Progress is based on your performance and the quality of your work, not only on time served. Each phase has clear goals your mentor will walk through with you.
Can I work remotely?
Yes. Our team works online, so you need to be comfortable managing your own day and staying in close contact with clients and colleagues.
